Useful things to know!

I'd like to bring my child to this event, do I need to buy a ticket for myself as well?

Tickets are only required for children. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

We’d like to remind parents that Hanley Park is a public space, though the event will be well-marshalled by the Bee Active team.

Where do I sign-in?

Please sign in when you arrive at the park. Our sign-in tents will be located at the main bandstand area.

Once you have signed in with a member of the team, you will be given a card to collect stamps.

Where can we park?

There are two Council-operated car parks at the park, where pay-and-display parking is available. Other pay-and-display car-parks are available just a short-walk into town.

What are your arrangements for First-Aid and child separation?

All Bee Active coaches are DBS checked and trained in paediatric first aid. Our first aid station will be located at the registration tents (main bandstand area). In the event of separation from your child, a Bee Active coach will escort your child to our designated rendez-vous point. Please notify a coach immediately if you become separated from your child(ren).

Can we buy food and drink at the event?

We are organising for some friends to join us to sell food and drink. Full details will be shared closer to the date.

The park’s public toilets are situated near the top car park.

What time does the event start?

The event and activities will begin at 14:00pm and end at 17:00pm, though you are welcome to turn up at a time that works best for you. Last entry will be at 16:00pm.

We anticipate the course will take around an hour to complete.

What age ranges do the tickets cover?

There is no age limit on the event, though we would recommend that this event is suitable for children up to 16 years. Under 2s go free!
