Steven Swallow

I have been involved in sport and coaching for most of my life, earning my first football coaching qualification in 2000! I then spent nearly 15 years working in football with organisations including the Cheshire County FA, The Football Association, and the English Schools’ Football Association, where I gained extensive experience in project and event management, coaching, officiating, and sports programme delivery.

Following this, my career progressed into Operations Management, where I developed strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills across the retail and recruitment sectors.

In recent years, inspired by my two daughters’ passion for netball, I have become actively involved with Hawks Netball Club in Crewe in a voluntary capacity. I am now a Level 2 qualified England Netball coach, supporting several teams across the club. During the season, Sundays are often busy, coaching up to four or five matches alongside midweek training sessions, reflecting my commitment to developing players and promoting sport.

Outside of sport, I enjoy watching live events, spending quality time with my family – my wife Debbie and daughters Lily and Beth and walking our dogs.
