Calling all budding young sports coaches aged 12-16!
Sports Leaders is back! We have a fantastic opportunity for 12-16 years olds who are eligible for benefit related free school meals. The Hubb Foundation are funding limited places on our Sports Leaders Level 1 course.
Join us for an action-packed 4 days of learning and development this summer. Learn to use sport to deliver fun and engaging physical activities, and leave with a nationally accredited Sports Leaders Level 1 qualification!
Young people undertaking a qualification in Sports Leadership will learn and demonstrate important life and leadership skills, whilst increasing confidence through sport and physical activity.
Course requirements: learners must be 12 years or older at the start of the course.

Sessions use sport to deliver fun and engaging physical activities with other students and within the community.
Learners will plan, lead and evaluate sports/physical activity sessions over the course of our 4 day programme and then demonstrate their leadership skills as part of their assessment.
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes, suitable for physical activity. All Bee Active coaches are fully insured, DBS checked, trained in paediatric first aid and safeguarding.
Learners must attend a course of 4, 4-hour sessions where they will complete all the necessary modules to achieve the Sports Leaders UK Level 1 Qualification.

I booked my daughter Poppy on the young Sports Leaders course over the Summer – Bee Active were very responsive with my emails as I was a little apprehensive to send Poppy ,as she has a hearing loss and a few educational needs, and I wasn’t sure if she would struggle.
However, the lovely Becky didn’t judge a kid from her paper work! Which was so refreshing and really helped Poppy! Poppy throughly enjoyed her four mornings on the course, she was made to feel very included and no one even noticed her struggles!
I’m certain Becky played a huge part in why Pops loved her time so much. I was really informed on how she was getting on! I would highly recommend Bee Active, even if you’re a parent like me who was a little unsure I can honestly say Poppy was well looked after and for a nice change, her struggles didn’t matter! I hope Becky can play a huge part in Poppy’s journey as we think she’s amazing – she really went above and beyond! Thank you Bee Active and Becky!
